2034253 - Sales document update takes a long time due to program SAPLV05I

Symptom

When saving large sales documents or a large number of them, long runtimes may be observed from program SAPLV05I. Error message V1042 'Sales document &1 is currently being processed (by user &2)' is then raised when trying to enter the document on transactions VA02/VA12/VA22/VA32/VA42.
