2035117 - Uploading documents fails in Content Server 6.50 on Windows

Symptom

  • Uploading documents to a repository doesn't work on Windows.
  • The IIS (Internet Information Services) on Content Server is crashed and requires administrative intervention.
  • The IIS trace file contains the error:
    DB - StoreCompExend - error: 11 [SAP AG][SDBODBC DLL][MaxDB] General error;-8000 POS(1) SERVERDB must be restarted ;ODBC State S1000; Error Code -8000
    or 
    X-ErrorDescription: "[SAP AG][SDBODBC DLL][MaxDB] General error;-8000 POS(1) SERVERDB must be restarted ;ODBC State S1000; Error Code -8000"

  • SAP MaxDB database with version <7.8.02.36 is used as SAP Content Server database.
  • The SAP Content Server 6.50 is installed on Windows.
