2036318 - PCM: Some Version and Period combinations take much longer to calculate than others

Symptom

The calculation time for some Version and Period combinations seems to vary considerably from previous versions of the PCM product, or when a model is imported into a different environment or model server. There seems to be no explanation of why certain Version/Period combinations are much slower to calculate than others in the same model.
