2036581 - MFC (MainFrameConnect) DirectConnect server crashes when client terminates before ClientIdleTimeOut expires

Symptom

  • DirectConnect 15.0.1 DB2 z/OS server crashes when the client application disconnects prematurely while an RSP (Remote Stored Procedure) is running in CICS and ClientIdleTimeout expires.
  • The following error is reported in DirectConnect tds.trc file:

"Tue Dec 10 14:08:26.912 2013: TDS Library Error: tdsproc cannot be NULL in function tds_infoerror"
