2036630 - statisticsserver migration fails with 'error installing' / 'SQL error 129'

Symptom

The migration to the new statisticsserver implementation is performed following the procedure outlined in SAP note 1917938 - Migration of the statistics server for Revision 74 or higher. During the startup of the database, the following errors are reported in the HANA trace files:
