Symptom

You are running SAP Applications on SAP ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise). During migration or homogeneous system copy of a WebAS Java system you receive following error message:

Exception of type com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException caught: Database VENDOR_UNKNOWN not supported by OpenSQL and NativeSQL.
