Symptom

In Technical Monitoring, Oracle database (running on a Linux host) is reported as not available in the Alert Inbox. However the database is running ok.

Oracle Database Availability alert may contain the following information :

Metric Status
DBA Cockpit Oracle Connection Status Database available
Oracle Database Instance Instance is stopped
Oracle Database Status Database is stopped
Oracle Listener Status Listener is started
Oracle Archiver Status Archiver is stopped
