2038616 - Error Message : Project stock order not created; all materials are non stock

While creating Project stock order system throws an error message Project stock order not created; all materials are non stock.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Choose Projects View.
3. Choose Project XYZ (XYZ represents the Project ID).
4. Chose Edit -> Project Plan.
5. Go to the Products tab -> Products Overview sub tab.
6. Here choose the Product and click on the Create Project Stock Order button system throws an error message Project stock order not created; all materials are non stock .

1. From stock is not enabled in the planned material for which you want to create the Project stock order.
2. Project Stock consumption is not scoped.

Cause 1 : From stock is not enabled

1. Go to Project Management work center.
2. Choose Projects View.
3. Choose Project XYZ (XYZ represents the Project ID).
4. Chose Edit -> Project Plan.
5. Choose project header or project task .
6. Go to the Material subtab here you can see the From Stock check box should be enabled.

Cause 2 : Project Stock consumption is not scoped.

It means From Stock check box itself not available under material subtab.
