2040464 - Error 2048 [RSTSE...] in TemSe administration when print via label printer

Symptom

When trying to create a spool and print to label printers e.g Zebra (see SAP Note 1173046 - "Printer Vendor Wizard Note: Zebra") or Intermec (see SAP Note 1760619 - "Printer Vendor Wizard Note: Intermec") using the native Device Types from the vendor website, one of the following errors occur:

  • Error 2048 [RSTSE...] in TemSe administration
  • Error in spool C call: Error from TemSe
