2040683 - "MalformedMessageException: No SOAP Envelope" error during a webservice call

You use a SOAP/AXIS receiver communication channel to consume a webservice, but during the webservice call you see a similar error message like this in the channel monitoring:

Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/}definitions; HTTP 200 OK

If you reproduce this error and collect DEBUG Level trace as per SAP Note 1514898 - Troubleshooting SAP Process Orchestration / Integration, than you will see this other error message too like below:

Error in parsing response message.
