2041172 - PDF conversion: Latin characters incorrect with CJK characters and UPE fonts

Symptom

During PDF conversion, Latin characters overlap or have large gaps between the characters when CJK characters are used in the form and UPE repository fonts are embedded into the PDF.

Some examples of this error are:

The system needs to be UPE ready, as described in SAP Note #1812076 - "Unicode Printing Enhancement (UPE)".

Also, the parameter CJK_EMBED_FONTS set to "On". You can check this via report RSTXPDF3:
