Symptom

SAP ASE errorlog reports the following error and stacktrace:

Error 'Can't contact LDAP server', (0xffffffff), Descriptor: 0. (Message repeated 12 times in the past 3 minutes).
LDAPUA Warning: (Msgid: 3530) The Primary URL has failed.
LDAPUA: The Primary URL state has been set to 'FAILED'.
LDAPUA: The Primary URL state has been set to 'READY'.
LDAPUA: The Primary URL state has been set to 'ACTIVE'.
