2044209 - How to solve SQL4956, SQL4720, SQL7794 errors in SAP BW or BPC on SAP ASE

You are running SAP Applications on SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise. The following errors appear in the system log or are raised during user processing:

• [ASE Error SQL4956]Cannot alter table if REORG command or level 0 scans are active.

   
  The ALTER TABLE command is similar to:  alter table "/BI0/F<cube>" add partition ("/BI0/F<cube>_<n>" values <= (<request id>)
   

• [ASE Error SQL4720]Cannot truncate table '<n>' because there are one or more isolation level 0 scans, or REORG command, active on the table.

   

• [ASE Error SQL7794]You cannot scan table '/BI0/F<cube>' at isolation level 0 because another process is running a utility command that is incompatible with level 0 scans. Please retry later.
