2044792 - BPCNW - Expired Passwords won't allow SSO users to logon

Symptom

In some scenarios, the users may not have access to their passwords since all the communication with SAP systems is handled through SSO authentication. The Netweaver system has an option to allow users login on through SSO method regardless the password validity has expired. However, when using SSO authentication to logon either through EPM Add-in or BPC Web Admin, if the backend password validity has expired the user is unable to logon due to the enforced password update.

Under EPM Add-in the following message appear:

"You must change your password.

Click on OK to open the Planning and Consolidation Web Portal in order to change your password or click on Cancel to abort the logon process."
