2046203 - Not Possible to archive material due to log entry "Mara: info record exists"

Symptom

When trying to archive Material Master in transaction code SARA via archiving object MM_MATNR, the message "Mara: info record exists" is received. 
However, there is no Info Record for this particular material and there are no entries in the tables EINA & EINE for this material.
