Symptom

  • When launching Web Intelligence (WebI) Rich Client from BI 4.0 Client Tools, getting the following error message:

    com.sap.webi.client.toolkit.exception.WIException: ClusterFacadeImpl::openSession : unexpected exception

    at com.sap.webi.client.toolkit.exception.WIExceptionFactory.create(WIExceptionFactory.java:18)

  • Other Client Tools (Information Design Tool, Widgets, etc.) may work fine
