2048792 - Timestamp datatype does not yield valid date/time data when accessing with the convert() function - SAP ASE

• Table defined with timestamp and datetime datatypes
• Data inserted to both columns at the same time
• Execution of query to convert timestamp value to datetime yields unexpected results:

1> select convert(datetime, a) from ts1
2> go
