You Received the following Error Message deleting an Opportunity: Opportunity with ID XYZ can't be deleted because of existing follow-up documents

1. Go to Sales Work Center.
2. Go to the Opportunities view.
3. Select an Opportunity
4. Click in the Button delete. 

The following error message appears: Opportunity with ID XYZ can't be deleted because of existing follow-up documents.

 

This is the expected behavior.

Deletion of an Opportunity is restricted and if there are follow-up documents e.g. any Activity, related Opportunity, Sales Quote or ERP documents.

To proceed with the deletion of the Opportunity, you need to first delete the related follow-up documents and then the Opportunity.
