When you try to copy a new model, it is not created properly and the following error occurs in the SLG1 application log:

Diagnosis

The assignment of generation namespace to object namespace Collection/Creation of DDIC Objects is not allowed.

The following error occurs in the SM21 system log:

Message ID: BY7

Category: Database

Message Test: Database selection with invalid cursor

The database interface was called by a cursor (in a FETCH or CLOSE cursor operation) that is not flagged as opened.

This can occur if a COMMIT or ROLLBACK was executed within a SELECT loop (which closes all opened cursors),

followed by another attempt to access the cursor (for example, the next time the loop is executed).
