2049467 - After installation of SMP3.0 SP03 too many short-lived DB connections - SMP

Symptom

  • After upgrading SAP Mobile Platform(SMP) 3.0 cluster with SP03(SAPSMPRT3003_0-20011876.ZIP EBF 22701: 3.0 SP03) the SMP 3 java process is creating many short-lived connections/sessions to the database on TCP-level (once or twice per sesond repeating infinitely).
  • These sessions are not related to the steady and long-term sessions built up to the SMP DB on start as they stay alive and are not affected.
