2050566 - How to Collect Log File from Client Side Outlook Integration

Symptom

You wish to collect the logs for client side outlook integration activities in your system.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

  1. Log into Microsoft Client Side Outlook Add-in.
  2. Click on the Help option from the Outlook Add-in ribbon (below Log-In button).
  3. Click 'Increase Log Level'.
  4. Click 'Enable HTTP tracing.
  5. Reproduce the issue.
  6. Wait for 5 minutes so the data can be written on the log files otherwise it will be empty.
  7. Again, click on 'Help'.
  8. Select "Show Log File Directory"
  9. A folder will open.
  10. Collect the .log file and save the file.
  11. Zip the logs and attach the file to the reported case for SAP to analyse.
