2050600 - Upgrade to ASE 15.7 SP122 causes Core dump on Solaris - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • You are upgrading from ASE 15.7.x to ASE 15.7 sp122 on Solaris
  • The upgrade seems to be successful , as no errors are reported
  • After rebooting the ASE server a core dump is produced with the following message: 
    core: ELF 64-bit MSB core file SPARCV9 Version 1, from 'dataserver'
