Symptom

  • Adaptive Processing Server (APS) in failed state after upgrading BI 4.0 to BI 4.1
  • Even a repair on the installer does not resolve the issue
  • APS is starting but with errors.
  • When logging in promotion management
    Error while accesing promotion management in CMC throws error Promotion Manager Error:
    Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request.The error from the server is: The object with ID Ad7w68IutB5BjpD7GO8DWC4
    does not exist in the CMS or you do not have the right to access it (FWM 02020)
  • In CMC -> Application tab, the promotion management application is missing.
