2052523 - Messages with Adapter Status 001 cannot be archived or deleted

• There are a large number of messages outside the retention period configured which have not been archived or deleted
• Running the report RSXMB_SHOW_STATUS within transaction SE38 shows a large number of messages with adapter status 001
  
• Messages with this adapter status cannot be deleted as this is a non final status
