2053019 - Check for Crystal Reports updates in Visual Studio 2010 and above generates an Error in the FlexNet server - The product version is not registered on the server

Symptom

When checking for update to Crystal Reports when in Visual Studio IDE and editing a report an error is generated in the Flexnet Service:

The product version is not registered on the server. Contact the Administrator of your FLEXnet Connect account.
