2053712 - SMP: After upgrading SMP from 2.2.x to 2.3.4 the SMP server crashes with the error java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sybase.dataservices.DataServices.preloadPackage

Symptom

  1. Running SMP Server 2.2.x Is upgraded to 2.3.4
  2. After startup the SMP server is stopped
  3. Noted in the mlsrv_err.log file is the following error:
    <Main> [-10154] Exception thrown in constructor of class: 'com.sybase.djc.mobilink.StartServer'. Error description: 'java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.sybase.dataservices.DataServices.preloadPackage(Ljava/lang/String;)V'.
