2055688 - Error: Cannot build the query or generate the report. (WIS 30351) occurs while refreshing a migrated Web Intelligence report.

Symptom

  • When report is migrated from higher patch (for eg: BI 4.1 SP03 Patch 2) to the lower patch (for eg: BI 4.1 SP01 Patch 4), following error occurs while refreshing the Web Intelligence report:

  • #syntax appears in the report columns.
  • Objects and variables disappears.
