2057199 - DHR - XML Output Escape Character Encoding Is Incorrect

Symptom

  • When &amp; is in a field before lt; or gt;, then on xml output it shows in the field as < or >, instead of being preserved as it came in.
    XML output escape character encoding being changed.
  • Observe the following on the xml output:
    <field1>some data <</field1>
    <field2>more data ></field2>
    <field3>&amp;lt</field3>
