2057705 - Error upgrading data tier from SUP 2.2 to SMP 2.3 - SMP

Symptom

  • The upgrade of the data tier from a Sybase Unwired Platform(SUP) 2.2.x single cluster installation to SAP Mobile Platform(SMP) 2.3SP04 has failed with error "Upgrade failed. Error migrating cache DB"
  • The upgrade_dbs.log from ..\InstallLogs\upgrade is reporting the error:
    "SQL Anywhere Backup Utility Version 16.0.0.1691
    Database backup failed
    UPGRADE_ERROR_939
    Upgrade failed.
