2058164 - HLM - Error during support package implementation

Symptom

In the HANA Lifecycle Manager, during the implementation of single support packages or support package stacks you are facing the following error in the "Enter Credentials" Step (Step 1) after you enter the <sid>adm credentials:

Error Message: Execution of 'Deploys SAP Host Agent configurations using sidadm credentials' failed.
Detailed Message: null or empty argument
Help: http://help.sap.com/hana

The HLM logs contain java exceptions similar to:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: null or empty argument
