2058210 - SUM Upgrade of NW on HANA aborts with error "invalid statement handle"

Symptom

You are upgrading your NetWeaver on HANA system with SUM and in phase PREP_SPACECALC/TR_GET_SPCREQ_ADD it is aborting with the following error (e.g.: in logfile SAPup.ECO):

ERROR: Statement: SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM TABLES WHERE SCHEMA_NAME =
CURRENT_SCHEMA ORDER BY TABLE_NAME
ERROR: SQL ERROR 7:
ERROR: Statement: SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM TABLES WHERE SCHEMA_NAME =
CURRENT_SCHEMA ORDER BY TABLE_NAME
ERROR: ERROR 256: invalid statement handle
ERROR: SQL ERROR 7:

If you manually execute SQL-statement

SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM TABLES WHERE SCHEMA_NAME = CURRENT_SCHEMA ORDER BY TABLE_NAME

in the HANA Studio SQL Editor the following error occurs:

Could not execute 'SELECT TABLE_NAME FROM TABLES WHERE SCHEMA_NAME = CURRENT_SCHEMA ORDER BY TABLE_NAME'
SAP DBTech JDBC: [7] (at 23): feature not supported: cannot select user-defined type: line 1 col 24 (at pos 23)
