2058902 - How to hide password when using ddlgen utility -SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Customer is running the following ddl command: ddlgen -Usapsa -S <servername> -TDB -N saptools -F % so a password was needed.
  • Usually it will hide the password to ensure that not authorized users can read it on the screen by accident. But coping and pasting a password longer than 10 characters will only hide the first 10 characters. The other characters are displayed on the screen.
