2059594 - Upgrade from DS 4.0 to 4.1 or 4.2 does not install all EIM APS services

Symptom

  • Customer upgraded from DS 4.0 to 4.1 and then to 4.2 and the services new in DS 4.1 and 4.2 such as DS.JobLauncherService were not installed.
  • Error:
    04-14-2014 15:43:10 OCAFrameworkException
    (EnterpriseSessionMgr::logonWithToken): All the servers with CMS someserver.com:6400,
    cluster @somecluster.com:6400,
    kind pjs which host service DSJobLauncherservice,
    are down or disabled
  • CMS and EIM APS are running on separate machines. EIM APS service does not have a locally running CMS.
