Symptom

  • ct_connect error indicating there is missing or invalid data when installing a character set/sort order
  • Adding a nocase sort order to syscharsets for iso_1 fails with the following error:

charset -Usa -Pxxxxxx -Stest nocase.srt iso_1
CT-LIBRARY error:
ct_connect(): user api layer: external error: The connection failed because of invalid or missing external configuration data.
