2061403 - SAP Mobile Platform SDK : Mobile Application Workbench installation in Eclipse IDE failed

Symptom

I tried to install the mobile application workbench into eclipse. I followed the CUV documentation: "To verify which version of Eclipse to download, see http://service.sap.com/pam.

Open the PowerPoint file under the Essentials heading in the upper right corner." After loggin into the pam page, I couldn't find the Essentials heading.

So I downloaded the latest eclipse version luna. This seems to be not compatible. I got an error because one or more required items could not be found (see screenshot).

The error message is:

'Installing Software' has encountered a problem.

Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
