Symptom
- The maximum limit for the int32 datatype is about 2 billion (2,147,483,647).
- Internal ASE IO counters are based on the int32 datatype.
- Execution of the command SET STATISTICS IO ON returns invalid (negative) IO counts when the count exceeds the limit of the int32 datatype:

(regular=-494016376 apf=0 total=-494016376), physical reads: (regular=0
apf=0 total=0), apf IOs used=0
- Accurate IO statistics are needed.
