2065374 - SMP: Using an HTTPS address with HttpAuthenticationLoginModule that results in a redirect may redirect to an incorrect port.

Symptom

  1. Setup SMP to authenticate device users using the HttpAuthenticationLoginModule
  2. The URL used will result in a redirect following authentication
  3. Note that with HTTP the authentication succeeds (the redirect is processed correctly)
  4. Note that if the same webserver / redirection code is used but with HTTPS the SMP server is passed an incorrect port resulting in a failure to redirect.  Authentication fails.
