2066429 - Message 905 and ERROR #13116 - Unable to allocate a DBTABLE descriptor to open a database when starting SRS

Symptom

  • Upon startup of SAP Replication Server, the errorlog has these errors:

Message from server: Message: 905, State 1, Severity 17 -- 'Unable to allocate a DBTABLE descriptor to open database 'sybsystemprocs'. Close or drop another database before opening this one, or ask your System Administrator to raise the configuration parameter 'number of open databases'.

ERROR #13116 DIST(101 ds.rs_RSSD) - neric/useful/cmapp.c(1414)
The function <RCIGetInfo()> failed when trying to communicate with server and database <'ds'.'rs_RSSD'> as user <rs_RSSD_prim>. See Connector error messages for more information.

  • The Replication Server is up, however most of the threads are DOWN.
