2067038 - Edit Button is Grayed Out in Journal Entry Vouchers View - SAP Business ByDesign

Symptom

In the Journal Entry Voucher View, the Edit option is grayed out, and the document cannot be edited.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to General Ledger work center.
  2. Open the Journal Entry Vouchers view.
  3. Notice that the Edit button is grayed out and the document cannot be edited.

Cause

Recurring Journal Entry Vouchers cannot be edited in the Journal Entry Vouchers view. All the other Journal Entry Voucher Types can be edited.

Resolution

The Recurring Journal Entry Vouchers can be edited in the Recurring Journal Entry Vouchers view, as follows:

  1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
  2. Open the Journal Entries view.
  3. Select Recurring Journal Entry Vouchers.
  4. Search for the respective Recurring Journal Entry.
  5. Notice that the Edit button is available and can be clicked.
