2068793 - BC SWIFT file upload has incorrect ZIP codes

Symptom

  • SWIFT file is being upload
  • For a particular entry in the SWIFT file
    • Country Name field contains "UNITED STATES"
    • Location field does not contain a zip code
    • Location field contains a space character embedded within other text
    • After uploading, results in the LU_FINANCIALINSTITUTION.POSTALCODE field will incorrectly display part of the text from the location, which is not a ZIP code
    • For example value "New York,NY" will store "York,NY" in the LU_FINANCIALINSTITUTION.POSTALCODE field.
  • For a particular entry in the SWIFT file
    • Country Name field contains "UNITED STATES"
    • Location field does not contain a zip code
    • Location field does not contain a space character embedded within other text
    • After uploading, results in the LU_FINANCIALINSTITUTION.POSTALCODE field will correctly display a NULL value
    • For example value "Sacramento,CA" will display a NULL value in LU_FINANCIALINSTITUTION.POSTALCODE
