2069349 - 6097 and 10022 Errors on a Windows 7/Vista Client accessing Data Tables on a Windows Share

Symptom

  • You receive 6097 and/or 10022 errors when attempting to access a Windows Network Share from a Windows Vista/7 client and using a "Remote" connection
    • Error 6097: Bad IP address specified in connection path or in ADS.INI file
    • Windows Error 10022: Invalid Argument
  • However, running the same application from a local drive works without issue
