2069563 - Error "Table x does not exist in database system 'XXX'" for DB Connections

Symptom

You connected an external database to a BW in the form of a source system via an external Database Connect. And now when trying to crate a datasource the following error occur even when the connection is sucessfull and activated:

Table '' does not exist in database system 'XYZ'

or

There is no table  in database system 'XYZ'

(Message no. RSDL101)

Additionally Table/View field is empty on Extraction tab of DataSource connecting to source system 'XZY'
