2070154 - 7078 Error When Using Mapped Drive - Advantage Database Server

Symptom

  • Client application returns a 7078 error when making a connection using mapped drive that is mapped to a share with a period (.) in one of the folders (e.g. \\servername\9.x\data)
  • ADS_ERR.ADT log shows the FileName path has omitted the period
