2070164 - Adding an Existing Table to a Data Dictionary using SQL - Advantage Database Server

Symptom

  • Advantage Data Architect does not currently have a Linux version.
  • When connected to a Data Dictionary on Linux using ARC for Windows, selecting a table using the right-click option "Add Existing Table(s)" wizard returns the error "The above file name is invalid."
  • The "Add Existing Table(s)" dialog uses direct file access to locate the file. Windows and Linux pathing conventions are not compatible.
