Resolution

Disable Date Range Filter Option for My Goals Summary View

This applies only if you have your goal plan configured with the summary section (My Goals View) <summary-section filter="true"/>

My Goals  View allows you to filter your goal list to view the goals that are most important to you.
All you have to do is pick the date range or goal status you want, and the Goal Plan instantly refreshes to display only those goals. So you see only what you want to see. Then you can work with the goals just as you always did. Or, you can take a look at the two status charts to get a fast visual summary. When you want to see the entire Goal Plan again, just click See All Goals and all the goals display on the Goal Plan.
The goal summary feature adds another section to the goals page called Summary.

The existing issue: if goal summary is enabled, goals added outside the Goal Plan date range will not display in the plan, so users do not have a way to edit or correct the goals/dates. Example: Your Goal Plan date range is 1/1/2011 - 12/31/2011

  1. If we create a goal with start date as 01/01/2011 and end date as 12/31/2011, it is visible as the end date is overlapping with the date range specified in the template.
  2. But if we create a goal with start date as 10/03/2010 and end date as 12/31/2011 it is not visible, as the start date is outside the date range specified in the template. b) If we create a goal with start date as 12/31/2010 and end date as 1/1/2012 it is not visible, as both the start and the end date are outside the date range specified in the template.

Enhancement: A switch was added to switch on/off the date filter function. User may list all goals with this switch, regardless of whether or not it's in or out of the date range of the current goal plan.

Enable/Disable the "Disable Date Range Filter" check box in the goal summary section to control this behavior.
