Symptom
After generating an ad hoc report, certain custom fields are not showing the correct values. Your field is not a standard goal field but is a custom goal field.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Cause
The most common root cause of this behavior is that there may be multiple fields either in the same goal plan or across goal plans using the same reportable field.
Resolution
For example:
- In the 2013 goal plan, you have 4 custom fields and all of them have been assigned the reportable field, reportable=”field1”. The correct behavior is that all 4 fields would need to be assigned independent reportable fields such as field1, field2, field3 and field4.
- Another example is that in the 2013 goal plan, you assigned the custom field called quarterly expectation to reportable=”field1”. While in the 2014 goal plan, you assigned the custom field quarterly expectation to reportable=”field2” and the custom field quarterly comments to reportable=”field1”. This can cause issues with reports because you assigned different custom fields to the same reportable field.
Please refer to our main solution that describe this issue and how to resolve via a configuration change.
