2072756 - How to enable / disable the "Library Goal" option when clicking to Add Goal - Goal Management

• How to add or remove the Library Goal option when adding goals in the Goal Plan?
• How to add or remove the Library Goal option when adding goals in the Goal Section of a PM form?

• SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

When you add a new goal/objective, a pop-up window will show the available options currently configured for your instance. The three possible buttons are:

• Personal Goal
• Group Goal
• Library Goal

NOTE: When only one goal option exists, e.g. Personal Goal, the dialog will launch when clicking on "Add Goal"; there will not be a dropdown.

Add Library Goal button

The Library Goal button shows if your goal plan contains the below xml:

<field-mapping src-library-field-id="Name" dst-field-id="name"/>

<field-mapping src-library-field-id="Data1" dst-field-id="metric"/>

</obj-library>

Remove Library Goal button

To remove the Library Goal button, the above code must be deleted in the Goal Plan XML.

Note: in order to make changes in the XML, please contact your Implementation Partner. If you don't have a Partner, you can find for SAP Certified Partners via the SAP Partner Finder or, alternatively, speak with your Account Executive or Customer Engagement Executive about Professional Services options. If the library exists and just needs to be added to the existing Goal Plan, or if the library name has changed, you can also contact SAP Cloud Support via case requesting to update it in the template XML.
