2072764 - How to Rename the Add Goal Button

Symptom

This article reviews how to rename the "Add Goal" Button and "Add Goal to Plan" button on the Goal Plan.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Resolution

When you add a new goal/objective a pop up window will show the available options currently configured for your instance. The three possible buttons to see are:

  1. Personal Goal
  2. Group Goal
  3. Library Goal

You can rename the words Personal, Group or Library from Admin Tools > System Properties > Text Replacement > Search for personal, group or library.

All 3 options are located together and you can personalize any. The word Goal or Objective can also be changed via Text Replacement >

$(ProvObjectives)
$(ProvObjective)
$(Provobjectives)
$(Provobjective)

Please keep in mind personalizing these changes not just the add goal buttons, but the word throughout the application. Note there are 4 options to customize all case sensitive options, Goals, Goal, goals, goal.

Click on Save at the bottom of the page to apply changes.
