2072902 - COUNT_BIG may return incorrect result using ASE parallelism - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • You are running applications on the SAP ASE database.
  • The ASE database server is configured to utilize ASE parallelism.
  • If a query contains a COUNT_BIG() aggregate and the ASE optimizer generates a 2 phase PARALLEL aggregation strategy, then the value returned will be incorrect.
