2073302 - iOS Enrollment not working in Afaria 7.0 SP5 (The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate)

Symptom

iOS Enrollment is not working in Afaria 7.0 Service Pack 5.  The following errors are being logged to the server message log:

  • IPH6035: PutMDM Message Signing Validation
  • IPH6034: Token Checkin MDM Message Signing Validation Failure.

In Debug View you can see:

  • thread:16 time: 2014.09.29 12:05:20 >>> getSignedMDMpacket : Mdm-Signature  
  • thread:16 time: 2014.09.29 12:05:20 getSignedMDMpacket msPkcs7Io.verifyDetachedSignature : msPkcs7Io.verifyDetachedSignature.x509:  
  • CryptographicException SignedCms.CheckSignature: 
  • The revocation function was unable to check revocation for the certificate.  
  • thread:16 time: 2014.09.29 12:05:20 TokenCheckin x509: null  


The Device will show an Error:

  • "Profile Installation Failed".
